Hi, it's me, Shelby!

Hi, I am Shelby , a passionate photographer of 31 years old. Although I have had a love for photography for many years, it wasn't until 2022 that I decided to make my passion my work. I enrolled in a photography course in beautiful Maastricht and since then I haven't looked back for a moment.

Just some facts about me. I am engaged, 2 children and 3 bonus children, we have a sweet dog with lots of hair. I love mayonnaise, eating out, caramel sea salt chocolate, cinema, online shopping and have 2 businesses of my own. My own baby/childrenswear webshop Lualou Kids and my photography Lualou.Photography.

My journey into the world of photography began with attending several follow along sessions and participating in a styled and shoot session for photographers. These experiences taught me a tremendous amount and further fueled my enthusiasm and skills. But my learning doesn't stop there. I am constantly taking mini courses and scouring YouTube tutorials to improve my technique and gain new inspiration.

In the past year, I have had the privilege of doing almost 100 paid photo shoots. It gives me so much satisfaction to develop my own style and share it with others. If you had to describe my work, you would describe it as warm, casual and spontaneous, with an edit that is characterized by the beautiful beige and earthy tones.

My entrepreneurial story really began when I started doing it!

5 stars is not enough for this top photographer ! together with my partner & our daughter of 2 years I had my pregnancy shoot and what a nice experience it was ! For our daughter, Lio immediately her favorite music was played so she felt at ease. I recommend everyone to book a shoot with this sweet & beautiful lady ! We are looking forward to going back when our little son is born.
